Manal Sayed joined the Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre Society in 2021. Coming from a
diverse background, she has a good understanding of different cultures, bringing unique
and new insights to the Mental Health field. In her travel and education journey, she
gained a profound understanding of the effects of trauma and oppression on the human
mind. She is passionate about helping and supporting those who have suffered either
situation. She uses different therapeutic modalities, including Neurofeedback.
Manal grows every day through the stories of her clients; their strength inspires and
motivates her to become a better advocate for those who need her voice. She is fully
present to listen, support, and voice the needs of those who cannot do so themselves,
Manal is honoured to walk the journey with everyone—Indigenous, non-Indigenous,
people of colour, or 2SLGTBQ.
Manal is currently doing a master’s in Counselling Psychology at Athabasca University,
(Canada). Manal holds a Health Science Degree in Nursing from Al Ryyan Academy
