Selena Williams is Carrier and a proud member of the Lake Babine Nation. She belongs to the Caribou Clan and embraces her cultural heritage with pride.
Selena’s interests lie in creative expression through artistry , appreciating nature’s beauty, and spending quality time with her family while immersing herself in cultural education.
In her free time, she enjoys creating different makeup art, socializing with friends and family, and learning her language.
Selena is a self-taught makeup artist and also has skills in cooking and beading. She has had the opportunity to build positive relationships within her community through involvement in various events and programs. Additionally, she volunteers time with her elders and the Lake Babine Nation.
Selena’s achievements extend beyond her community, featured on German television in a documentary called “Unsolved,” where she spoke about her late cousin and contributed to the awareness movement surrounding Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.
Overall, Selena is a passionate individual who uses her talents and experiences to make a difference in her community and raise awareness about important issues.
