Mel Bazil is a Gitxsan<\/a> and Wet\u2019suwet\u2019en<\/a> man, father, storyteller, counsellor, and activist. His experience in these territories sees him active in the schools, community partnerships, and as a long-term presence at the Dze L K\u2019ant Friendship Centre Society (as he was raised in Friendship Centres). Support includes educational, activity-based, and counselling services. Assistance is geared towards respecting individual needs and providing timely, appropriate, and effective supports to address these.
