Youth Connections Assistant

Carrie Abraham is a proud member of Lake Babine Nation, Laksilyu clan and has been working with youth at Dzelkant Friendship Center since 2016. She is deeply committed to creating safe, supportive, and culturally grounded spaces where young people can reconnect with who they are and where they come from. Guided by traditional values of respect, kindness, and community, Carrie walks alongside youth as they find their strength, voice, and sense of belonging. Her work is rooted in healing, empowerment, and the belief that when youth feel connected to culture and community, they can thrive in all areas of life.

The Connections Project also hosts a drop-in program for youth, ages 13-18.
